screening again

Thursday was screening day over in Benin. According to my sources (that is, friends on the ship), over 1,900 people were scheduled for surgery. It's going to be an amazing year, and it's killing me that I'm not there for the start of it all.

(Not sure who put that video together, but it's making me want to jump on a plane immediately. June seems so far away right now.)

I'm having a hard time finding words, but God bless you all. I can't imagine how you get through a day there without just throwing yourself on the ground and sobbing.

We believe that our daughter's cleft lip was repaired by a medical mission team in Bulgaria. Such an inconsequential thing here, but so inaccessible to so many. Thank you for what you do for the least of these.
