I'm back from Togo, and the wedding was amazing; I'll post pictures once I've managed to get them uploaded. Which could be a while, if the speed of the internet here has anything to say about it.

For now, I have something else I'd like to share with you. This is Jonah. My cousin is the nanny for him and his twin brother Marco, and his mama is the one who gave me the fishy rattle when I left for Liberia last year. Those two boys are two of my favourite people in the world.

Jonah was born with esophageal atresia and a tracheoesophageal fistula, and spent the first months of his life in the hospital. He's been home for years, though, growing stronger, playing with his brother and loving everyone that comes into his life.

My cousin emailed me on Saturday to let me know that Jonah was sick. He was in the hospital, in the PICU, struggling to breathe. When I got back from Togo this afternoon, there was another e-mail. Jonah has gotten worse, and he's now on a ventilator.

Please pray for Jonah. Pray that his little lungs would rally and that he would be strong enough to fight this. Pray for his mama and daddy, Jennifer and David. Pray that they would find peace in situation that is anything but certain. Pray for Marco; he's only three, and his brother isn't at home to play with him right now.

Let's storm heaven together on behalf of this little boy, and let's watch God work.
