At the moment, I'm in a weird spot where I'm trying to figure out what this blog is going to look like, not only for the next few months but after that once I'm back on board with Poppy. Am I going to turn into a mommy blogger? Will I have enough to write about while raising a kid in a shoebox, or will I run out of words at some point? Can I tell patient stories when I'm not working on the wards? Who am I going to be and what will I have to say about it? I just don't know.
So please forgive me if I stay quiet for a little longer. As spring rolls into summer and the fireflies dance through the night, I'm breathing deep the love of my family. I'll be back soon with more, but in the meantime, enjoy a couple photos of niece and nephew and family and friends and all the reasons I couldn't be happier to be having a summer baby.

Prayers and peace to you
I echo the hope that you'll keep posting after you have the baby. Things will be very different, of course... a different kind of busy, and you'll prioritize your time for your family.
And maybe we'll miss the nursing stories (I've loved them) but what I really appreciate is you. The way you open your heart to us and we see the glory of God at work.
Julie
Are you going to let everyone know when your baby is born? I check your blog nearly every day hoping to see the good news!
