I wish there were words to say other than I am sorry. I wish it could have been different. I will pray. May God bless everyone involved with His comfort and strength to face the coming days.

God's arms wrapped around sweet Maddie as He kisses her brow to welcome her home... it's the vision that I would need to hold onto if I were her mother ...

Into the arms of her Father! What peace must be hers! Praying for the peace of mama and papa now.

We just received word that 2 precious preemies (born around the same gestation as our own miracle Emmanuelle) we had been praying for passed into glory. Only a hope that God works all things for His glory is sufficient to comfort grieving hearts.

Ali - I'm so sorry about Maddie...what a sweet little girl she looks like. Early in that morning, before Maddie died, a sweet little boy named Ethan died, a sweet little chap that I heard giggling at me, and smiling into my eyes as I brushed his wispy hair off his soft forehead. I think you would have loved him like I did, only knowing him for a couple hours.

It is a comfort, that in the questions like "Why?" and through those tears, God, is faithful, and good.

With love and prayers,
~ Jean Marie

Sorry does not convey properly my sentiment. What a beautiful child. I have no comforting answer to your question of why. Thank you for sharing her short little life with us.
