"This is my favourite thing about this place. Watching them finally realize that we're in this together, that there's nothing about them that will make us love them less." Can you imagine God's delight when we finally "get it" as we discover His love for us?

This made me think of Zeph. 3:17 - "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."

Ali--I'm so touched by your sharing. I hope this and more will be compiled in a book some day. Thank God for you, and all of you who do this work.

Amazing story Ali, it's the little things isn't it, that mean the most. So thankful for you and the life of sacrifice and giving that you are living. Praying that God pours out some big blessings on you and your ministry today!

Ali, I've enjoyed reading your blog for some time now. Your stories bring tears to my eyes so often. I'm currently a student nurse, and I long to have the same heart of compassion as you, always bearing in mind that "We are all image-bearers of a beautiful God." May He continue to bless others through you.
