Oh Ali, I am so glad you have such a wonderful plan. I feel I know you through your wonderful blog which is so inspiring. Your writing is so sincere and honest and touching and wonderful, do keep it up you have a real talent. I am sorry for myself because I thought I might actually meet you as I have applied to Mercy Ships to work as an Operating Department Practitioner next April, but if it goes well (and they like me) I would like to make it an annual event, so you never know we might meet! You will love the Taj Mahal at sunrise, it is beautiful. You would probably also love to visit Mother Teresa's Mission in Calcutta, to hear the nuns singing Mass at dawn is a beautiful experience, their voices so clear and true. Keep writing your blog, we are all with you, so far away but loving hearing all about your children.

Blessings always.

Sometimes life here in NA doesn't make a lot of sense to me either! There are days I feel like a stranger and a pilgrim and then others where I try like heck just to blend in a little. It's clear even to me that this world of mine, my little corner of Canada, is not my home. I sure wish, though, that I was just a passin' through like you will be doing when we finally meet up at Christmas/New Year. Perchance, could you and HoJ bring an extra suitcase or six and take us back with you? I even speak a little espanol so I could prove useful, no? ;-)

Such wonderful news!!!!! Thank you God. You have done such amazing work on Mercy Ship I can't imagine you and HoJ not being there. I don't know you but I sure feel close to you guys through this blog. The ways your stories have touched my heart are immeasurable. May God continue to bless you both. :-)

Maybe someday I'll meet you on the ship?! My husband and I are praying seriously about joining a Mercy Ship tour, and when God says "Go" we want to go! You have certainly been an encouragement to many, specifically us, to reach out. In fact, we keep thinking it would be an awesome opportunity to fund ourselves through our summer jobs to go every winter or so. Anyway, thank you again for sharing how deeply God's desire for you to be in Africa is and your obedience!
