I have been following your blog for some time now but have never commented. Your entry today reminded me so clearly of one of my favorite hymns, "God Moves in a Mysterious Way". What a comfort to know this! He delights in nothing more than to have you "tucked" continually under the shadow of His wings.

"God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform;
He plants his footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.

"Deep in unfathomable mines of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs, and works His sovereign will.

"Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take; the clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break in blessings on your head.

"Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.

"His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste, but sweet will be the flow'r.

"Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter, and He will make it plain."

Oh Ali,

I am glad that you got some results. I had a month of itch that was undiagnosed, I was told to take benedryl for it and it just knowcked me out constantly. I lived in a state of utter weakness and confusion with two little boys at home with me (2 1/2 and 16 months) and pregnant with boy number three. Finally I saw a specialist and they were able to give a bit more insight and try something new and with steroid things got better. Not 100 % but it sure feels like that compared to how I was. I dont even need to touch benedryl now... I hope the results are the same for you. Im praying.

Oh, Ali, I'm so sorry you're continuing to struggle with difficult -- and painful! -- health issues. I love what you wrote about God here. It is so true. Throughout my brain tumor and the disability, throughout this past year of sea changes, God has not failed me nor has my faith in Him faltered. God's unwavering love for us is grace indeed.

Peace and blessings,

Through everything, you show God to us who are always learing more about how to walk with Him. I thank you, and I thank our Lord for you as for who He is for me.

I pray for the healing of your body as you continue to serve Him, and that you continue to find new strength in walking with Him.

With love and prayers, Nicky
