That would definitely help, except when I'm IN the ship, I have no idea which is front and which is back. I'm not used to the scenery out the windows yet, so I have absolutely no point of reference! Oh well. Having a sense of direction isn't everything.
Welcome to marriage. That whole 'two become one' thing isn't just a load of pretty words. I was away from my Husband for 4 days last week and it felt like I kept forgetting something everywhere I went. Half of me wasn't there.
Ali, it's good to see you posting here! So much has happened in the past year since I started following your blog - and it's all as it should be now! (married, back on the ship, new adventures awaiting you!)
He'll be by your side soon enough, hang in there and enjoy those plantains and the new faces of those you'll be helping!
Man, I miss African food night... Good old plantains and potato leaves... But I bet me missing African food night does not compare to you missing Phil! He'll be with you soon! God bless Ali!

wow. ali, i'm so glad you're "back." i've missed your posts. i love your updates and the incredible way you have with words. i can't imagine how challenging it must be to not have your hubby there with you! i will be praying for you...and just think what a joyful reunion that will be.
