We are so sheltered from life here in the U.S. I got a glimpse of poverty and hopelessness in India.

I can understand your frustration. So many to help and you can only do so much.

I am praying for all of you as you help those that the Lord places in front of you. May He be glorified in your acts of mercy and love.

I've been reading for a long time. But this post just hit me hard. Thank you for sharing so openly and honestly and for living out your faith in acts of love and truth. You are an inspiration--even on days when you feel like you can't begin to fill the need. You are.

I'm a long time reader, too. I don't know if I've ever commented but I can tell you I have prayed for you and shared this blog with others. You have really hit my heart with the last few posts and I am and will continue to pray for you fervently. I add a hearty amen to the past 3 comments. Bless you. You are a brave and courageous woman. I have been on a few mission trips but never like you are enduring. I hated seeing all those who suffer and lacking, may the Lord grant you strength and trust that He is sovereign.
