Gorgeous! Thank you Ali for your reminders so often of the life that God calls us to... its hard, its messy, but it's oh so full of love! I am so happy that you and the HOJ get to travel around the world and see new and wonderful things and have fantastic times together, but my soul will miss your updates from the ship in the same way that a man lost in the desert misses the taste of cool, refreshing, life giving water on his tongue!
Have you thought of writing a book? You really should, you have a good amount of content on your blog, and even if you don't tell the stories of the kids, the lessons you're learning and the light you're seeing God through are very powerful theological insights!
I so wanted to hug you this week, and as I opened today's story I prayed that you would have a smile instead of tears this week.
"I LUB YOU" - brought a smile and goosebumps to me, so I can only imagine the joy it brought to you to get that hug.
Again I am reminded that "as you do it for the least of one of these, you do it for the Lord" - keep on showing His love to all those folk in West Africa, and enjoy the LUB you get in return as a power boost.
I agree - write a book, and put me on the list for an autographed copy!
