I waited in great anticipation to hear about your time with your parents, and as to be expected, loved the tales! I smiled and chuckled and laughed at the TIA moments - including the realization that you not only rode a zimmiejean, but could take pictures of your parents and yourself while doing so! I agree with that wise Zambian boy - the dirt does not leave your shoes!
Give your parents a hug for me before they leave - they parented a wonderful person.

I'm catching up on almost two weeks worth of your posts after being on vacation and am overjoyed at the enormous amount of life that you are so busy living! Your parents are darling, they must be so proud to call you theirs! I love all the pictures...makes me want to come along on your next adventure! Thanks for putting so much detail into your posts, I almost feel like I'm along for the ride!!

Such a great adventure! I've never ridden on the back of a motorbike yet.
When are you coming back to Zambia?

How true, about Africa's dirt. The shoes of everyone that I know who has been there are still dirty.
Wonderful post, as usual. I really, really love reading your blog.
