Thinking of you, Ali... I wish I had something smart or helpful to say, but just know that you're in my thoughts. Have a samsoa for me. :-)

Ali-
You don't know me at all, so I feel strange leaving a comment, but I have been reading your blog for more than a year and have been blessed by reading your blog and 'sharing' in your experiences. I just want to tell you to 'keep on keeping on.' I had a similar experience when taking antimalarials during a trip to Belize, and it was terrifying. Know you're being lifted up in prayer by many more than you realize; hold onto God and your husband, and I promise you that it WILL get better, as you know. I've never left a comment on your blog, but I just felt that maybe an encouraging word from a complete stranger might help you to realize that there is a huge unseen group of us who are praying for you! Treat yourself gently and try to appreciate the small, good things. Hugs from Texas-

Ali, I feel the importance of praying protective covering over you! You are in a new environment with different spiritual battles than you had in Africa. The One who lives in you has already overcome the one in this world but a sensitive spirit such as yours would pick up on the turmoil. Be sure to rest in Him and His Word, taking all thoughts captive to His Truth. Praising God for His goodness in providing HoJ as your earthly protection and asking Him that you experience His protective warriors as well. This part of your journey with God will be good as well! Blessings, Deb

I'm so glad you have your HoJ with you to help you over the rough patch. I've never taken anti-malarials but I've heard they're rough.

I lived in Pune for 2 years when I was a child. Greet it for me, please.

I am so sorry things are so bad! I didn't realize it was so serious. I am praying!

We found the poverty in India to be overwhelming. It just feels like if you started to work trying to help people that you couldn't make a dent in the problem if you worked for a hundred years. How can you help? I wish I knew.

I pray for your peace and rest. Take care.

Ali, I read your blog once a week and really find it enjoyable. Just so you know that people around the world are praying for you right now. Remember Psalm 100 - you are a sheep in the Great Shepherd's fold and He cares for you.
