Ali, I don't think you ever could lose your heart for the people you serve or the realization that the first world is a little... much.
I need to tell you, too, that you've made me think more about my consumption in the first world. I read your blog without fail and I know it has made me stop and think more when I'm about to buy frivolous things. As a family we have raised our giving level (probably nowhere near enough as it is) because we think more about what we have. I thank you for that.
