When your title came up in my reader, my body went cold. I too had Dengue and life for me is marked by pre and post Dengue. It too was a disease that I didnt want to get, and I was thankful to get a diagnosis once I had left that country.
Not sure whether you want to be more prepared but I ended up going into a depression after for a while (I tell you so you know its part of it and you are not going out of your mind) and I also lost about 3/4 of my hair about 6 months later.
Keep drinking fluids and have you got any benadryl for the itch? that was making me go out of my mind.
All the best Ali, oh and sleep as much as you can. We thought after 3 days of lying down that we should just buck up and get moving, so we ventured outside to sit with our friends and I think we lasted 3 minutes before we literally fell back onto our beds.
