Ali, this is Lynne Livermore, Riley's mum. We have been following your DTS thru your blog. You are a gifted writer and photographer, thank you for sharing I have tears in my eyes at this moment. I have shared your dengue fever with a few of my nurse friends and friends that have been overseas and we have all moaned and groaned for you. How amazing that our God would choose Easter Monday to heal you. How amazing that God did heal you!!! like you said, Yes, we all know He is capable but not sure of His will for us :-) we are running and leaping and praising God with you. What an awesome God we serve! Now that you can move without pain, could you please go up to Riley and give him a big squeezy hug from his mum. thank you. keep basking in His gift to you!!! He is faithful Lynne

Ali, It has been so good to join along with you and Hoj as you write of your adventures in grace. Unlike reading a book about what has happened we get to experience along with you - living together in the adventure. Thanks and praise God for healing.

P.S. My joy is quadrapuled knowing I have also four daughters (23, 15, 13, and 11) who also share the experience of "Ali's Adventures" with me. It's so good when I come home from work and later that night one of my daughters asks "Did you read Ali today?" I'm so glad God has healed you!

Ali, I needed to hear that this morning. I've been struggling with some emotional issues here and have had a hard time believing that God would set me free from the inner torment. Your post gives me the hope to trust Him again for healing. Thank you for sharing so honestly on this blog. It has been a real blessing to me.

Praise the Lord for this healing. A week or so ago George had a bad cold and was scheduled to fly somewhere. He had been blowing his nose all day and taking antihistamines, etc around the clock. We went to the prayer meeting and he was prayed for. He got home and said that at bedtime he felt a change happening. Woke in the morning to all signs of his cold gone and proceeded to fly to his destination and give his seminars. :-)

I think that the greatest part is what you noted... not just the healing but God's personal interest in you in such a way that you can visibly see it and know it for sure.

Hmm... open the eyes of our heart Lord!

Love,
Donna

God heals according to His will, in His own times and ways. Often, we cannot know to what ends, or what graces will come of this mysterious and amazing life we have been given by Him. Often, too, we are not given to know or fully comprehend the depth and breadth of our healing, not all at once.

I am so glad that you are no longer in pain -- happy, too, that you have shared the story here with us!

Peace & Blessings,
Ellie

PTL! I am so excited for you! I read your post, teared up, then gave it a big "Yahoo!" What can possibly make God more real on earth than the miracle of healing.

Control yourself--I don't want to read your next post to find that one of your appendages is in a cast because of your joyful celebrating :-)
#25 Sher Sutherland on 2011-04-28 11:56
I want that kind of faith and joy. Thank you.

Ali, if you don't post soon, I am going to fly to wherever it is you are and find you, as you haven't posted since this glorious post and now I am getting worried. I am prayerfully hoping that you are just busy celebrating your returned health and that you will be posting again before I know it.

Don't worry! We've just been really busy, and last weekend we were on a mini-outreach here in Iquitos, so there was no time for blogging. Expect an entry soon - hopefully by the end of this weekend! =)
