Just to let you know that I'm praying for you and this missions trip. Yeah, a hubby usually knows best, so listen up when he decides. =)

I was happy to read that you are going back to Mercy Ships after a bit. From your posts, I sensed that your heart is still there and I'm glad God opened up the doors.

Your walk of faith is an inspiration to me. Yes, even those times of "core dumps." Folks of vulnerable honesty are hard to find these days and even tho we don't know each other, I am blessed by your life.

You a prime target for the devil. Not only because you are a missionary but also because of your willingness to be open about your life and your past failures. The physical attacks might be an attempt to undermine your faith but praise God, He will deliver you.

Praying for your physical recovery and your spiritual strength,

a sister in Christ

I'm keeping you in my prayers as well, and I'm also going to ask that you continue to pray as well (which I know you'd be doing anyway) and if it seems like it needs to be, please get yourself to whatever place is going to provide you with the most current health care if this doesn't begin to resolve soon. I don't know if that would mean you would have to head towards N. America or even just the next town over, but I just want you to be well! And keep reminding yourself that ALL things happen for good for those that love Him. Praying many, many good things for you.

We're miles apart, but minutes into reading your blog, I've been blessed to see what you and your team are doing. May God protect you in your journeys, and may you joyfully carry out His bidding. Will be praying for you.

I just wanted to let you know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I've been checking your blog page to see if you've had to write anything, and, as much as I love reading about what you're doing, I get really excited every time that I check back only to discover that you're apparently still up the river! May God continue to heal you, guide you, strengthen you, and romance you.

Also, thank you for sharing about your adventures. I'm a nurse, too and, in the last year and a half, I've left large painful pieces of my heart in Guatemala, Mexico, and Tanzania. I'm now back in the US for the time being, and it helps my heart to read your blog.

Blessings to you. :-)
