Bwah ha!! Oh, Ali, I can relate...it's soooo true!!! I remember us lying bed, especially with Adaya, and laughing out loud at 3am at the grown-man-flatulance coming outta her!

Your daughter is absolutely adorable!

A tip from a mother of 4, soon to be 5... instead of clipping their little finger nails, use a nail file. When they are that tiny it helps a lot and no Mommy tears are shed over some accidental skin clippings.

I love your list. Number 10 made me laugh out loud. It's so true though! Also, baby cheeks can never be kissed too much!
You've got a cutie on your hands :-)

I was enjoying every word of your post, smiling the entire time I was reading it. Then as I continued to scroll down, a picture appeared that made me laugh with joy at such a beautiful sweet life!!
I woke up this morning hearing this song on the radio "His banner over me is love" and He continue to show me His love.
Blessings.

Yep, our second boy Ezra makes so much sound when sleeping I nicknamed him Snorty McGee. But not to worry, as with our first son I drop(ped) the ridiculous nicknames before they can/could remember it or be embarrassed.

With our first (Tytus)Steph always had me snip the nails on fingers and toes because she just couldn't bring herself to do it, and YES I finally snipped some extra skin off a thumb and felt terrible forever, although his crying lasted maybe 5 seconds and then he moved on.

A bath you can use on the ship is like the quick one they do for the first one after birth. Use a small plastic tub/container and line it with one or two thick towels, place baby in. Use sink or other small container of water to bath baby with wash cloth, lather with water and soap, wipe down with washcloth and rinse water over baby with washcloth. One or two big absorbent towels usually soak all this up while keeping the baby safe and comfy (no metal sinks or cold steel). Take baby out and dry. (plus no spilled or splashed water anywhere.

Much to my wife's dismay I subscribe to the homeless look for my boys. I keep them in the same clothes for days sometimes...I say, "look baby (Steph) this is an achievement, he has managed to keep these clothes clean even during feeding, and changing the diaper is just like clean underwear, right?"

Down with the mucho laundry, there is enough as is!!! Plus I use the excuse, their boys, they don't even care as long as they playing or eating...but truth be told, at that age I would say the same if we had girls!

Say HI to your HoJ for us! Loved your learning curve list!
