I'm looking forward to watching this to learn more about Mercy Ships and to see if I can catch you burping should you be in some scenes too - smile.
This precious face, those deep, dark but soft brown eyes - they draw you in, they speak joy and love. Oh, how your heart must melt!

That pause of yours there in the trailer, after the "can't look at them" prompt - that pause was excellent. That said so much. So good.

Thanks be to God. I just watched the story of Africa Mercy on 60 minutes. You guys do God's work! You and your husband are amazing. Everyone on the ship is incredible. I am from Teaneck NJ and I am sooooooo happy to see someone who embodies the spirit of the garden state. May God bless and protect you all.
With my highest respect,

I just saw the piece on tv, great! What a big heart you all have, what an amazing work you do!
I read your blog quite a while ago, and wondered if this was the same ship and nurse who's blog I read a year or so ago... You're a mama now, congratulations!

As soon as I heard your name as we watched 60 minutes tonight I knew you were the same person Tim Challies has mentioned occasionally on his blog. Thank you for sharing your life's stories with us.

I just have to say firstly, that Zoe's feet are absolutely adorable in that photo!!

I watched the show and enjoyed it immensely. It was well done and you did a wonderful job. What you all have committed yourselves to do to help people is inspiring and convicting. In a good way. :-)

Ali, it was wonderful to watch! I was still at work at my hospital and we had an empty room full of nurses crowded around between shift changes waiting for the Africa Mercy segment. One nurse promptly put in her application to serve on Mercy Ships! Inspiring? You bet. I was proud in that moment.
