Thank you for letting me know, and let them know that I have been and will continue to pray! Alpha told Derek at his pre-op visit prior to the last big surgery "I guess I won't be playing cards tomorrow" - we have been praying that he might be playing soon. Mariatou is my personal hero along with her most amazing caregiver - please give them a hug for me. And Fodi - we have shared his alphabet learning and pecious smile with so many. Bala was delayed by malaria but is hopefully strong now? Love to all!!

Though I don't know you personally, Ali, I think my husband Jon knew you via Iroquoina, and we so enjoyed watching the 60 Minutes segment on Mercy Ships a few weeks ago. I am praying in North Dakota! I also had my 2 year old daughter look at the pictures and pray with me. After answering a few 2-year-old "Why's" to the best of my ability and praying with her, she said "Jesus help you!" Bala's name is stuck in my brain- so I think Bala will be prayed for all day!
